Frame construction technology

Frame construction technology is suitable for the construction of houses and entire housing estates with a low number of storeys. A simple and convenient technique allows you to make a house even with your own hands, requiring only basic knowledge in building and full compliance with the technology.

With the technology of frame construction, the basis of the walls is a load-bearing wooden frame, which is sheathed on the outside with OSB material, and on the inside, as a rule, with plasterboard or wooden clapboard. The inner space of the wall is filled with insulation. The facade part of the house is lined with a wall of various facade materials that will give the house an elegant exterior.

The completion date of construction largely depends on whether it will be carried out with the involvement of specialists, or independently. Firms involved in the construction of frame houses guarantee the turnkey delivery of the house during the summer season.

The advantages of frame housing construction are many:

  • Durability. The service life of houses built using frame technology can be 50-70 years. If a light metal alloy is used instead of wood, then the service life can last up to 100 years.

  • Environmental friendliness of housing. Wood and mineral insulation minimize the risk of evaporation of toxic substances, being pure natural materials.

  • If the frame house is assembled in accordance with the technology, including the processing of seams between the panels, such housing will be very warm and optimal in terms of air humidity.

The disadvantage of houses of this type is:

  • High fire hazard, especially when erected in violation of technology or using cheap panels for cladding.

  • Also, if the insulation is not installed correctly during operation, condensation may form in the house, and heat will not be stored.
